City Nature Challenge with Coast Fork Birders

Participate in the 2023 City Nature Challenge (CNC) with Coast Fork Birders! Get outside with us April 29 for a guided bird walk to coordinate with the CNC. We’ll be exploring areas around Cottage Grove, looking to identify as many species as possible to contribute important data about plants and animals in Lane County. During this walk, participants add their observations to the iNaturalist app. It’s so simple, we can even show you how! The City Nature Challenge is a community science bioblitz with the goal of observing and identifying as many species as possible in urban communities and surrounding areas.
